Westwood, New Jersey Local Events

Sunday, May 20, 2007 - The town of Westwood in the Pascack Valley section of Bergen County, New Jersey will surely be a "BUZZ" this coming Sunday.  The Sunday May 13th edition of The Bergen Record has reported that The Westwood Heritage Society will be sponsoring their Annual Westwood Pride Day.

The event will take place at the Westwood Veteran's Memorial Park located at the center of Broadway, Third and Park Avenues from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Pride Day will be held in conjunction with The Society's fund-raising event called "Crafts in the Park".  Residents may come and visit the professional craft dealers who will have their goods displayed throughout the park.

Residents are also welcome to come and learn about the activities of The Heritage Society as well as several other organizations such as Westwood Veteran's Council, Westwood Knights of Columbus and Westwood UNICO, to name a few. 

The Westwood Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Voluteer Fire Departments will also be on hand to display their equipment.
