A Summer Day Trip Idea!

Recently my family and I decided to take a much need day trip away from the daily grind. We packed the car and head north, (we live in NJ), north east to be exact. Our destination, South Deerfield, MA. why South Deerfield, MA. you may ask, well that is the home of one of two Yankee Candle Flagship Stores. During the 3.5 hour car ride we laughed, sang, and laughed some more, oh and did I mention we stopped for breakfast too. Once at the store we walked around and walked around because the store has over 400,000 candles to see and smell. Several hours later with our purchases in tow, we left the store. We then proceeded further north to Bernardston, MA., which is home to The Kringle Candle Company . That's right you read it correctly, another candle store. With more candles purchased we were finally ready to leave. After a quick stop for dinner, our journey home began. Again we laughed, sang and some took a much need nap, but the ride back was great. Finally 450 miles later we were gathering our treasures and calling it a night. We vowed we would do the trip again as many memories were made and family bonds tightened.

If you want to make memories with your family and enjoy some fun, then I suggest a trip to The Yankee Candle Flagship Store or the Kringle Candle Company, you won't be disappointed with either. Both are just a short journey from anywhere in the north east.
