Ranch Land Near Taos, New Mexico-Mora County
Yesterday I took a trip to see a ranch owned by the famous Texans, Marshall Kuykendall and Bill Leonard. I’d seen some photographs of it but wasn’t prepared to be stunned by the high mountain, pristine, 451 acre luxury spread near Taos, New Mexico.
It’s an 85 mile drive from my office in Santa Fe and you’ll go through the village of Dixonand then through Sipapu Ski Resort.
The ranch borders 8,000 feet of the Kit Carson National Forest. There are 6 Elk permits, 6 natural springs, several building sites, lots of piney woods and Aspen groves and easy access. Although it’s not listed by me, you can have it all for $1,800,000.
On the way back we had a fabulous lunch in Penasco at The Sugar Nymphs Bistro. Don’t miss this place. It’s been written-up in Fodor’s and you’ll see why when you dine.
