I just read an article written by an economist who said that the real estate market is close to being at the bottom of the decline. He also said that when prices drop in real estate that markets stabilize. I attended a seminar in January in San Diego which also addressed the declining market. According to the experts at the Seminar, real estate should start to rise again in 2010 and the market then will be similar to the great markets of 2003-2004.
Prices in Taos have decreased and the number of real estate sales has dropped. Properties are still selling, but the pace has slowed down. It is truly a great time to buy an investment property right now, because there are a lots of choices and sellers seem to be more flexible with their prices.
