This road would be great for North Rio Rancho residents that need to travel to the East mountains. Also, it will be a way for people that live in the East mountains to travel to Rio Rancho and the Northern Albuquerque area (say... to come to an event at the Santa Ana star center). I Hope the County and the BLM get it figured out quickly.

ABQjournal West_News: Brakes Put on Placitas Road: "Sandoval County staff will postpone any plans for a new road to serve the Placitas area until, at the earliest, the Bureau of Land Management completes its land-use planning for the area, according to Sandoval County spokesman Gayland Bryant."
