Every time I read Charles McDonald's blog on Active Rain I get a little envious. I've never lived in a place where the seasons changed. California, Arizona, and Nevada have one season and its year round. Seeing pictures of the seasons colors in other parts of the country is so awesome,
Today while out I decided to look for seasonal changes in the areas I was driving...low and behold I did not need to drive far to see fall colors...they were right in my own backyard practically, here in Braewood Heritage. What an awesome sight it was at that! It was truly God's handiwork at its best!
Not a far drive from Las Vegas is beautiful Mt. Charleston...the snow capped mountains can be seen from many areas of the valley. And we don't have to suffer through the cold weather, wet streets, and snow plowing to enjoy it as seen in the picture to the right.
This told me one thing...all we have to do is look...look for the positive side of things as opposed to the negative side. There's a reason for everything...there's a good side and a bad. The cup is either half full or half empty. Which is yours? Mine has for the most part been half empty, but one of my goals for the new year is to look at things more positively. My cup will now be half full....maybe more than half...how about three-quarters full!
