The Las Vegas Strip will be shut down to vehicle traffic beginning at 5 p.m. The theme of this year's party will be "The Best is Yet to Come." An 8 minute, 40 second fireworks display wiill top off the evening!

Hi Mary, sounds like it must have been a wonderful time! We went to a barn dance last night out in the middle of nowhere. It was outstanding. There was a dance-floor in the barn and a DJ, the grill was fired up and the people were all in the New Years Spirit! It was fantastic and a memory that will live for years to come. Maybe next year we should switch! Think about it and let me know. Happy New Year!
