Nevada's Governor, Jim Gibbons, announced a new website to help Nevada homeowners facing foreclosure. The website, which can be reached by clicking here, is being billed as a comprehensive resource designed to help borrowers make informed decisions about mortgage payments. According to Governor Gibbons, "This website will serve as a one-stop location online where consumers can obtain information regarding foreclosure, including whom to call for specific help." He also stated "Those who are at risk of foreclosure must act now."
According to figures released on November 2, 2007, one out of every sixty homes in Nevada are currently in foreclosure. If you are having trouble making your mortgage payments talk to your lender, visit this website to see if you can't stop it before it happens to you. More and more lenders are willing to work with you but YOU have to ask.

The hardest part for a lot of people is simply facing the situation. Knowing there's a possibility of hope could help many take the first step.
Good post. I applaud the leader of the state for making this site available to the residents. It should prove to be of much assistance.
Mary - As Derrick said, I too really applaud your Governor for looking out for the homeowners in your state that may be facing foreclosure.
I will have to check this out!
one out of every six? That is just an amazing number!
Important information your providing for your community.Looks like your Governor has understanding of his state (no pun intended) I wish our Governor did.
Todd...one out of SIXTY, not six! one out of six would be amazing!
That site is a great idea. 1 in 6? Those numbers are astronomical!
BTW, I like the dress on your MEEZ. Although she's a little bit overdressed for the beach ;)
YIKES one out of 60? I have been running mad with BPOs but never gave it another thought!
Thanks for giving those that need help a great resource. We need to be information providers for those that are hurting right now!
