We Closed It Even With A Stolen Microwave

After finding out yesterday that someone stole the microwave in the bank owned home, closing was up in the air. We represented the buyer and we did our walk-through 1 day before closing. When we walked in, it was gone, who would come in and take it? CRAZY. But the reason for this blog is to complement the bank owned listing agents. What GREAT agents. When I called yesterday and told them about it, they said we will be right out to take photos and document the theft. They informed me today that they had personally already bought a new microwave and their handyman would install it by 6 today. I asked them if they would get reimbursed and he said we should, but your buyer deserves to get the place how she first saw it, we will worry about the reimbursement. WOW... Agents doing the right thing ! Love it. We will be very excited to show their listings again, If only other agents would get it!!
