WOW- Is all I can say. Here's the full story. Our buyer decided to go with a large national lender for her loan instead of a local lender I had suggested. Well 50+ days later and a missed contract close date my buyer called and said we need to have a plan B in case my lender can't get it done. I made a call to our favorite local lender- Debbie Secord @ Prime Lending Reno. Last Wednesday 7/21 she took the application over the phone from our out of state buyer, had to order a new appraisal and put a rush on it to try and get it closed. So the appraiser met me out at the property Thursday ( yes, the next day !) and our lender had it back in her hands Friday around lunch. The loan is now fully approved ( at a better rate) and loan docs will be to escrow today ( 7/27). There are still some GREAT lenders out there even in today's crazy market !! If you don't have a great lender business partner, GET ONE. Our buyer is over the moon, the sellers are thrilled it will finally close and we are extremely grateful for a wonderful loan officer.
