Killing an accepted offer for more…

Yesterday, I had to kill an accepted offer on a property to get my client 10,000 more. As you know, you have to disclose all information and offers in this business. On this one particular property, I got the property owner 10,000 dollars below the asking price, which is pretty good these days, so he accepted the offer and we were about to go into contract till…

I got a last minute offer for exact asking price! I checked the underwriter’s pre approval on these potential buyers, they were good to go. Now I had to kill the accepted offer. I had so many people mad at me! I told everyone that I have a fiduciary responsibility to my client, but that didn’t seem to matter. Once again, I had an attorney cursing and screaming at me, but it didn’t matter. What really matters is that I got my clients the highest price possible for their property.

Just another day at the office.
