Ok, I've asked this question many times in my market and now I'm tossing this survey out to everyone in this community.
What is or would be the perfect home inspector?
There isn't an incorrect answer. This isn't going to be difficult, but when were done we'll create a list of the good, the bad, and the ugly. You might be surprised what some inspectors are doing and begin to wonder why your inspector isn't doing or providing you with the same level of service/product.
This will be a learning experience for everyone. Remember, we all survive from referrals and please don't underestimate what a good or bad inspector/inspection can do to your future referrals.
Here's the ground rules - list three or more good things your inspector does and list three or more bad things you dislike about inspectors. I'll even start everyone off - here's the question again - What is or would be the perfect home inspector?
Good:
Bad:
Now, if you are compelled to say home inspectors are "deal killers", that's Ok, but as my good friend Russ Colliau, from Roseville, CA says - we are "Transaction Assassins - doesn't that sound much better?" Ok, you can use that one!
Here's to your best year ever, may everything you touch turn SOLD,

I think your One Twos and Threes can be used for contractors too John.
David - You are 100% correct. You could send something like this out to your database and ask for feedback. You'll be amazed at what might come back. Thanks for the comment. Have a great week.
