Clifton Park to Host Free First Aid, CPR, and AED Class

TOWN TO HOST FREE FIRST AID, CPR AND AED CLASS

Here is another very valuable service provided by the Town of Clifton Park. Please make sure you pass this along to all your family and friends.

The Town of Clifton Park will hold a free basic first aid, CPR and AED training class on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clifton Park – Halfmoon Ambulance Corps, 15 Crossing Blvd, Clifton Park. The class will be taught by certified ambulance corps instructors. The training will prepare residents to properly respond to typical home injuries and medical emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with automatic external defibrillators (AEDs), which can be found in many public buildings and schools, as well as near athletic fields. All who attend the training will receive basic first aid, CPR and AED certificates good for two years of certification. This training is part of the town’s ongoing efforts to provide residents with the ability to confidently cope with home and family emergencies of all kinds. Pre‐registration is required. To register, call 371‐6651 ext. 230 or e‐mail ccc@cliftonpark.org. Participants are asked to give their name, address, phone number and e‐mail address. Residents can also register in person at Clifton Park Town Hall in the Community Development Office.
