There were 19 single family homes that sold in Commack Long Island within the Commack School District #10, ranging in price from $290,000 for a 3 bedroom 1 bath Ranch, to $739,000 for a 4 bedroom 3 bath Splanch style home.

These sales reflect those single family homes sold in Commack Long Island that were listed on multiple listing service and do not include for sale by owner, non-member or non-published sales, nor does it include condo units.

Average Listing Price: $478,000
Average Selling Price: $457,000
Total Sold: 19 Sales
Sales - $290,000 - $739,000

Compare to September 2010 ~
Average Listing Price: $549,000
Average Selling Price: 517,000

According to these stats, during the same time period for the previous year, homes in Commack New York were on the market for 6 days shorter, there were 10 less sale, but the average listing and selling price were higher. Keep in mind though, the styles of homes, the amount of land, the location and the updates may not be equal or the same. In 2010 there was a sale of a home with a price of $1,225,000 so this brought up the average prices considerably. All in all, Commack sold more homes in October 2011 and that's a good sign for The Real Estate Recovery!
