Hartsdale, NY

Hartsdale is a wonderful little Hamlet in the town of Greenburgh, NY with a population of about 10,000.

The first house I ever sold was in Hartsdale, and I have always enjoyed the Hamlet. The commute to Grand Central Station in NYC is about half an hour and the train station is on the Scarsdale border, so the trains in this moderately priced community are shared by Scarsdale residents.

The things that I love about Hartsdale are numerous.

  • The convenience as a bedroom community of NYC
  • The village feeling in the area around the train station.
  • The Saturday morning farmer's market.
  • The condos and co-ops along E. Hartsdale ave.
  • The reasonable priced starter homes
  • The Greenburgh Town Park
  • Hartsbrook, The old Gillette Estate, now a park
  • The Elegant Tudors and Colonials of Manor Woods.

This is a wonderful community just South of Bustling White Plains with Central Ave. shopping running right through the middle.

The single family homes range from $410,000 to $1,569,000 right now.

The Condos range from $270,000 to $729,000

The Co-ops range from $117,000 to $369,000

Hope you are enjoying the wonderful spring weather.

All the best!

Kevin
