This foundation is not only strong. It is greened. Reclaimed rigid foam insulation is attached to the entire foundation. Reclaimed means the materials are being reused from previous constructions. This is the first step in sealing the home. Before the solar panels and geothermal system get working, it is important to make sure the home needs as little energy to heat and cool as possible.
