The house of Versace is designing interiors for a Manhattan landmark currently undergoing renovations and a condo conversion.
One Madison Avenue, the former Met Life Clocktower building near Madison Square Park, will be converted to residential condominiums

The Italian design house has been hired to do interior design work on the Clock Tower in the Flatiron District.
Erected as the tallest building in the world in 1909, a title it kept for four years until the Woolworth Building at 233 Broadway was completed.
The renovations include 55 condominium apartments, common areas and a spa. Donatella Versace will personally design a luxury club in the building. Versace designed the interiors of The Plaza last year.
The area is now being called Madison Park. A 60 story luxury building One Madison Park is is being constructed at 23 East 22nd St. Those apartments will have incredible views of the Clock Tower. The building is mostly sold although the building's penthouse top three floors 7500SF and a 580+SF wrap-around terrace is available for $45 million.
