Reiki, which means roughly "spiritually guided universal life force energy" in Japanese, aims to heal and relax the inner and outer soul through the light, feathery touch of a practitioner, who allows energy to pass between the two of you. Pamela Miles, who has been practicing reiki since 1986, offers a free introduction and treatment so you can judge for yourself if the claims are true.
