Last minute Halloween costume shoppers waiting on line on the Upper West Side
The 35th annual Greenwich Village celebration begins tonight at 7 p.m., when thousands will gather to show off how frightening and funny their costumes can be. The parade stretches down Sixth Avenue, beginning at Spring Street and wrapping up on 21st Street.
I just got home. There are kids in costumes everywhere. Waiting for the elevator there is a man who looks like the cable guy. I've been having problems with my digital TV and road runner. I've been meaning to call them but I never have time to wait for them because they won't give a specific appointment time.
I asked him if he was with Time Warner and if he could fix my cable. He asked me what is wrong. I told him the picture breaks up. He seemed concerned. Then he told me he's not with Time Warner Cable - He is dressed like the cable guy for Haloween. Great Costume. LOL
Happy Halloween!

OMG Mitchell I love this; thank you - you have no idea how much I needed that. It sure sounds festive there. It's very warm here and no rain, perfect for the kiddies. Did you buy candy? lol
Hi Carole, I buy candy I like, then I don't open the door lol. Just kidding. Its really warm here too.
LOL I bet yer not kidding! :-) I forgot to buy candy; I have windows open because it's so nice and I wondered what all the commotion on the street was! No Joke! So no candy from me this year....
The kids start early I wasn't even home yet. I've been busy. Kids come trick or treating at the office too because we have a storefront.
Yeah, trick or treating in New York is sure different than it is in the rest of the country! The kids don't have to dress as warmly - they spend most of their time in hallways! Hope your cable gets fixed soon!
Mitchell I've never been in NYC for Halloween, but I hear it's worth making a special trip to see all the craziness.
