All types of dance instruction are offered to boys and girls here at the South Shore School of Dance. Mary Douglas, the owner, has been teaching for 30 years and is a certified, registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance in London. While most of her students take dance just for fun, a couple of her graduates have gone on to study with generous scholarships and have performed professionally. South Shore School of Dance competes on Long Island as well as nationally. Students benefit from Mary Douglas' professional dance background and the world class training she is able to offer.
