HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A PURSE EXCHANGE?

I went to a pocket book exchange this week that was really interesting. I had never PURSEbeen to one before, never even heard of such a thing. What you do is bring a pocketbook (or more than one) that is new or relatively new and in good shape to add to everyone else's contributions who are attending. Then according to how many you bring, you are able to pick that many from the mix to bring home.

This way everyone who brings one (or more) goes home with a "new" one. What a great idea! And there are so many ways to put a spin on it. You can maybe buy one and use that as a raffle or a door prize. You can do a 50-coinpurse50 drawing as well. I can home with 2 nice bags because I had brought two with me and I was very happy. The person who was running it was donating any leftover bags to the local domestic violence shelter which I thought was a great idea on her part. I thought she did a great job. I wouldn't mind going to something like this a couple times a year. We all got to have munchies and catch up with each other. It was a fun night!
