A True Feng Shui New York Makeover---by Feng Shui Long Island & New York

A complete Long Island New York Feng Shui Makeover! I am finally able to provide the links from an Article that Newsday our local Long Island NY newspaper printed. Feng Shui Long Island was featured along with our lovely client, Karen Van Dusen.

This Feng Shui Makeover was in Mineola Long Island New York.

Karen's call was NOT unusual. In fact as Feng Shui Consultants we are often called in because our clients believe in Predecessor Energy and because she had breast cancer. She wanted an optimal set up of her existing furniture and items ONLY as she had downscaled from a large 9 room house.

Heavy furniture in Feng Shui weighs us down. Some of the before shots we had taken show that there was no flow of Energy in Karen's new space....and the sleeper sofa and heavy furniture was ALL placed in the center of her HEALTH area. We are particularly careful with health issues in Feng Shui and while Karen was reluctant to TRY the new arrangement of furniture she thankfully decided to trust us.

Although she had recently undergone surgery, within the month she had: Taken a fabulous trip to London, got an unexpected gift of money and received the best news of all, a NEGATIVE Pet Scan. And she loved her "new space" and the arrangements and was sleeping well at night.

This is, I believe, Home Staging to live---from a New York Feng Shui Consultant's point of view. The energy flows around her space now and we went back to implement some Feng Shui Cures, using items she already owned but placing them in optimal areas. We also gave her condo a thorough Space Clearing to remove all Predecessor Energy and make the space her OWN.

Here's a few shots of the BEFORE Long Island Feng Shui Makeover and the After Links (Which Newsday put into two sections-one has the article itself and one has the photos). This is what a Long Island Feng Shui Consultation can create:

Carole,

Amazing work!! You and Laura worked wonders with this condo. Absolutely beautiful and you can feel the energy flow just from looking at the 'after' pictures.

Wonderful article too...the two of you are best Feng Shui consultants to call in Long Island or New York!

My dear friend. Would you have a hay day with me.

That is an incredible art and gift you have.

Sincerely

Hi Carole, Always amazing... I was most curious about what was planted in that cool planter in one of the "after" pics... glass globes? Looks like low maintenance?  Really nice post. :-)

THIS IS FANTASTIC! CONGRATULATIONS, CAROLE!

those cannot possibly be the same room.

Carole- I love your befores and afters, you can feel the change even in the photos.

Carole, I love how you show the influence of blocked energy with excess furniture. It is so true. You can just feel it.

Wow Carole!  I can't even believe that is the same room!  You are famous and the good news about how your feng shui is helping people is spreading!  I love that she is going to have a wonderful room with great energy to recover in.  I know that it is going to help her!  That is $349 well spent!

Feng Shui as a science can affect the physical, mental, emotional and the spiritual level of an individual. If at the physical level, it relates to the changing in the placement of objects, it can help you achieve mental stability and progress emotionally. And once the emotional balance is created, one can evolve spiritually to the higher self. Experts highlighting the importance of Feng Shui also state that --Feng Shui as an art can help you progress but it can't change your destiny, unless you work hard to achieve it. Feng Shui is not just placement of articles in the house but it is also connected to your entire well-being.The Chinese exponents of Feng-Shui believe that where you live and how you allocate and arrange the elements of your home or workplace can significantly affect the harmony of your health, wealth, and happiness. Many of Feng Shui's precepts are based on sound practical sense, others seem to be merely a matter of convention, while for some people Feng Shui lies beyond any rational explanation. Hi Carole,

The makeover is wonderful. It made the whole room feel free and light. I actually felt myself breathing better when looking at the after photos.  Great work.

IMHO,I might try to see who "riathareja" comment above here is and ask her to stop spamming on your blog unless she is a friend and in that case I would still ask her to stop the spam.

Have a great day.

Carole:  My first impression of the before pictures was a feeling of confusion and disorganization.
What an amazing difference !  I even felt a weight was lifted just looking at the after pictures.

CONGRATULATIONS on the article! The photos are wonderful...the makeover is amazing! What a difference!!! Wanna know something...when you are doing makeover and when you are just being...you are always making the world more beautiful. GBU!

Carole -- A great article and, as usual, you did a great job.  I like the way you are able to make feun shei easy to understand.  I am sure that the owner felt the difference in the energy flow right away.

Carole- Wow friend, sounds like you really did a good job.  and nice Article too :)  Good job.

Val, You crack me up :)  I don't actually know if that helps, I know it helps in your posts, though...from reading Katerina's posts who teaches even those of us technologically challanged what to do--and Not Do!  It was a good article, I was thrilled and thank my lovely client for being so open about it.

Jo, Thank you.  Karen was reluctant with our suggestions but she took them...and loves it.  I'm so glad.

Tom, Thank you.  It helps when my clients try my suggestions, I'm so glad she was willing to do that.

Mara, They were globes but not made of glass.  She had all those things from her home and wanted them used in one way or another in her new space.  She had actually put lights around them as well and they are lovely.

Laurie, Funny, that's how Karen feels :)  She LOVES the energy in her space and sais she can really feel it.

Katerina, Thank you!  I know you use Feng Shui and you CAN actually feel a huge difference....Karen loves it.

Gary, You can feel it...and see that it's blocked.  And in her health area which she definitely needed to keep open and light.

Cristal, I wouldn't say famous but her new space looks drastically different.  And better then that, it FEELS better.  So does Karen and that's always the best news.

Cathy, Thank you--Karen was a wonderful person to work with and that always makes for a good job.

Paddy, I have been reporting that person as "spam" for many months.  It comes from an Indian Real Estate Site and if you do a search on it here on AR, they are all over the place!  I don't know why AR doesn't block their IP address---although I've seen one or two people actually respond!  Thanks for pointing it out--I deleted it but hope AR will take them off!

Donna, She'd had a lot at one time...and had sent so much to storage.  She knew, though, what she wanted to keep in the apartment and we had to make it work with an eye for Health first.

Elizabeth, Thank you so much for your lovely comment.  I am fortunate to love what I do and it was nice to have a chance to show a makeover.

Joan, She did, she was very surprised she liked it!  Karen was reluctant to change it with our suggestions but decided to give it a try.

Kathy, Thanks, it was a fun project!  When you work with someone so wonderful, it's hard NOT to have a good time :)

Wow, amazing before and after shots!  The after shots are so inviting and you can feel the energy in the room!

Beautiful job!

Sorry if someone already asked this question but I didn't notice it when I scanned the comments:  what does the shawl or throw under the easel do?

Sorry, another question!

Did you and your daughter (so cool you two work together!) make the actual changes or did your client?

BTW, I hope she is doing well!

Great job, loved looking at the photos and your explanations.  You are quite good at what you do missy.  Love reading your stuff for info and spirit of Carole.  THANKS

Kim, Thank you, it was a nice change and feeling in there after!

Dane, It was just to deflect some of that strong energy from the Iron element.  Karen had it outside in her home but she really wanted to make it work in her new space.  About the changes, Karen had her handyman move just the larger pieces and then Laura & I took over :)  She was a sweetheart about letting us do what we wanted.

Hi Carole...Well Done, Nice to read about your success helping another Client with their life with your Feng Shui Talent. I'm sure you'll soon be helping many more people as the public reacts to the article on your success with changing this ladies life for her.

Once again, Well Done, thanks for sharing your success with us all in the Rain!!

Carole this is all so fastinating to me.  Just yesterday while consulting with clients I mentioned your comments for having a red entry door and I think that helped with their decision.

Your before and after photos do tell a great story and are testiments to your talent.  You may not consider yourself famous but you certainly are the expert!

Carole,

Thanks for the inspiration for me to call someone in Grand Rapids to consult as I begin a new phase of my life.  Seems like clearing the energy and maximizing the flow of energy would be a good thing at this point.

Terrylynn, Thank you, what a nice thing to say.  I love to redesign--people don't realize how fabulous their home can look with just a redesign in some cases!

Fred, The reporter was lovely and interested in Feng Shui--so was my client--while reluctant, she listened to us and loved her "new" space.

Ginger, It's amazing to me how many people now are (finally!) interested in Feng Shui and I hope it did help make their decision.  I like my red door :)  I don't need to be famous, I just love helping people--the same as you do!

Eric, In a new space or after life changing things happen, it's recommeneded.  Check credentials and make sure they do the space clearings and I'll bet you feel a difference.

Awesome Press Carole! - and what an amazing difference (before vs after)! Congrats!

Sincerely,

Grace

Grace, Thank you!  It was nice to finally get some press from this paper and we had such a good time with our client.naman

This is so interesting to me. Thanks for the post. The pictures are great and I can almost "feel"  how benificial the changes you made are.

I think it is wonderful that you were able to help this client. The photos are pretty dramatic with the new space just looking so much more inviting.

Wendy, Thank you for stopping by and commenting.  We needed to open up her health area and thankfully she loved how it looked and felt after the makeover!  Clients that trust you are the best :)

Rich, It was a big difference and this was just one room....we are checking in with her as other changes are made but she FEELS the new energy.

'to deflect some of that strong energy from the Iron element'

That is so interesting! Thanks for the explanation I knew I'd learn something. :)
