NEGOTIATING FOR WHAT YOU WANT

Most every interaction involves some level of negotiation. Whether it is deciding who cooks dinner, choosing which relatives to invite to a party or reaching agreement on an important business deal. This course presents many persuasive techniques and may just be an "eye opener." The instructor will include examples from his career to illustrate real life application of each approach. Learn how to assertively ask for a raise, buy a car at a better price, get lower rates on motel rooms or just improve your negotiating skills and relationships.

Ken Wishnick received training at the MIT-Harvard Program on Negotiation and has been negotiating solutions to complex projects and programs throughout his career. He is a NY Licensed Real Estate Salesperson at Coldwell Banker in New Paltz and holds a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Previously, he served as a vice president for a $6 billion NYSE corporation, chamber of commerce president and as a NJ county director of planning and development.

Classes Runs March 19th 7-10pm.and are held at Ulster BOCES at 175 N. Route 32 in New Paltz Advance registration is required by calling 845-331-5050. Ulster BOCES charges a fee to register.
