Price hikes across the board are now in effect for riders of Transport of Rockland and Tappan ZEExpress buses and are now paying more for less. TZx riders must have exact change.
TOR bus rides throughout Rockland will go up 50¢, while TappanZEExpress riders who hop the commuter buses to Tarrytown and White Plains will pay $1 more. Fares for the elderly and those disabilities will increase 75¢ on TOR and $1 on TZx
TOR plans to eliminate Saturday service and some underutilized trips on a half dozen loops.
