Piermont History is Free to Public!

The Piermont Historical Society have opened the historic Piermont Train Station free of charge to the public from 10am to 2pm on the first Sunday of every month throughout the summer of 2011- May 1, June 5, July 3, Aug 7 and Sept 4-plus May 15 in observance of NY Heritage Weekend.

Members of the Society will be on hand to answer questions about the Station's history and its recent rebirth.

Built circa 1883, the Piermont Train Station, adjacent to the Erie Path, was lovingly restored by the Society. It's at 50 Ash Street (Ash Street at Hudson Terrace) in Piermont.

While you are there take a stroll along the old Erie path towards Nyack and enjoy the many lovely homes along the route.
