DCCAP a great resource in Dutchess County NY

Now that the summer is coming to an end and the winter season is just around the corner I couldn't help thinking about the additional challenges many will face.

DCCAP - Dutchess County Community Action Partnership is an organization which extends a helping hand. Because of the economic situation many had to face this year, services such as the food pantry operated by this organization was over taxed however it was refreshing to see many community groups coming together to hold food drives to make sure that these pantries were restocked.

What type of assistance could you expect from this organization?

• Home heating - for example the HEAP program

• Education and Employment
