Tappan, September 26, 12-5 PM - 25th Annual Colonial Day. Come see Colonial army re-enactors and encampment soldiers, tour the carriage House Museum and DeWint House, and see Ladies and Gentlemen in Colonial attire preparing for winter in the DeWint House Kitchen. Pearl River, September 27, 9 - 3 PM - Auto Show and Swap Meet at Central Avenue Field, Pearl River, and local auto show where all proceeds will be donated to local charities. Day of event - vehicle registration is $15, free for spectators. Rain date: October 4. www.rocklandrodders.com

West Nyack, September 30 thru October 12 - The BIG APPLE CIRCUS is "tons of fun!" This jolly collection of clowns, acrobats, animals, and more, is here to make your day a whole lot brighter.
