Warwick, NY Honors its Volunteer Firemen

I've always taught my children to give back to the community. My oldest son has been a volunteer firemen since the age of 16. Today at 24, he has been certified as a firefighter, ice rescue diver, and serves as a trustee. Volunteers are very important to our towns as most communities in Orange County, NY rely on volunteers to keep their community's running; Fire and EMT's are are most precious commodities. Yesterday, Warwick honored our retiring Fire Chief Bill DiMartini as well as all of the firemen in our town and county. Walking down Main Street the first thing you see is the American Flag hanging between two fire ladders. 38 Fire Companies, marching bands and bagpipers showed up to March down Main Street on a perfect Fall Day. Congratulations for a job well done!
