Over the past years I've been increasing my business by working hard, investing in myself, my education and my business. Things are really starting to pay off. Now I find other agents coming to me asking how things work at the broker I'm working for.
The more I listen the more I hear what they are really asking. "How are the leads delt out?", "Is your broker giving you all the business?" "We just aren't getting the leads in my office to support us", "One person gets all of our leads" etc, etc, etc. BULL!!! They are flat out asking "CAN I LEACH OFF YOUR BROKER BETTER THAN I HAVE BEEN LEACHING OFF MY OWN!!!!"
That one person who is getting all the leads in any office is the person who works hard, works long, and works smart. The person who is getting all the leads in the person who is going out an getting the leads. Its the person that invests in him or herself by doing mailers, making phone calls, talking to people. They are the person who did an outstanding job for there client and their clients recommended them to their friends, family members and associates.
I'm a big believer in, if you can think it you can do it. I know my hard work pays off, I know I'm in this business for the long haul. I'm sick of part-times signing the blues. Put up or shut up, the only one that makes you is this business is you.
