Get ready for the annual Hudson Valley Green Fair this weekend. With the present economic conditions many are re-thinking the way they do things. One exiciting thing that has emerged from this recession is that more people are now considering the backyard garden as a viable way to feed the family and thus maintain a healthy life style. At the green fair there will be many educational discussions.
Great information can be gained from attending such a fair but it will only be valuable if such tips are implemented.
Last year's Green Fair was a big success and I expect this year's will be too and we are expecting great weather conditions.

Jennifer We were at the nursery last week and it seemed to me there were more bedding vegetable plants than in prior years. Congrats on the 500th Karen
Carole - The weather was great and I am sure the turnout was great. I missed it this year because I was busy showing houses however I am glad I was there last year.
Lynda - Yes I am seeing more and more green seminars and I suspect kit will be the norm soon.
Bill - Did not make it this year, my buyers were in town so I showed houses instead.
Gita - Looks like they had a good turnout. One of the house I was showing was a few streets away.
Paddy - I am not happy that we went right into summer, I can't take the heat :)

Many backyard gardens seem to have sprouted out here recently. Of course, that also means that there are many more experts on backyard gardens -- LOL.
