On my birthday this month I went to see the new movie "Hugo." It is in 3D and I always love to see a 3D movie.
This is a story set in 1930s Paris about an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station. He takes care of winding all the clocks in this particular train station while he is trying to figure out something his father was working on at the time of his death. The child is played by Asa Butterfield (whom I have never seen before) and I thought he did an amazing job.
I thought the movie was very well done and was a perfect film to take the kids to see. It is over 2 hours long though so you need to know that before bringing anyone who can't sit for that amount of time.
There is a fabulous cast and I was also impressed by Chloe Grace Moretz who played Hugo's friend in the movie. If you are a fan of this era you will love the movie.
