YOUR "NICHE AREA" INFORMATION.....A Business BUILDING BLOCK to create more business? Have you thought of it
that way?
When I write a post about Southampton Village or North Sea, Noyac or Tuckahoe for that matter--a post that really says it all about my "Niche Area"--I make a very eye-catching flyer of it. I use it as a hand out to my clients and a source of information for buyers as well.
"If you stay up on all the happenings in your niche area, you can't miss--you never know when some little tid-bit will bring a buyer into the fold without you even realizing it! Buyers always want to feel like they are on the "inside" of the best informed about their new neighborhood! "
"Information about an area is like a building block--information builds on itself until a buyer knows so much about an area that it is just a matter of time before they buy a house there!"

This was what I just wrote In a response to a comment I got from Norma Toering on my post "Do You Inform....Do You Perform?"
The point is that we have a free source of marketing that really works: LOCAL INFORMATION, information about the area that you have selected as your area of FOCUS!
Some time ago, I wrote a post called "FUN THINGS TO DO IN THE SUMMER IN SOUTHAMPTON, NEW YORK!" and it became a source of more business for me simply because of the handout I made for my summer rental customers to use while they were here.
The kids never had such a great summer--and the parents too! While they are here they focus on each "fun thing" to do and the handout includes detailed directions on how to get there. It also includes resturants from the most casual to the most Chic!
The article got adopted by the local Community Information Center and is now a standard piece of information here for travelers. I update it when I have a new and important "thing" to add and the public loves it! Looks like this year there are a lot of new restaurants coming to Southampton--so an update is coming!
NOW, I WOULD CALL THAT A "BUILDING BLOCK" WOULDN'T YOU?
