Rockland County – Town of Ramapo Harvest Festival 2009

The Town of Ramapo Harvest Festival that was scheduled for Sunday October 18th from 2-5 pm was rained out. But, not to worry. You’ve got another chance to attend on the scheduled rain date. It will take place on:

October 25, 2009

2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

at

Manny Weldler Park

Monsey NY

and should be a really fun day. There is entertainment planned for the whole family to enjoy – inflatable rides and games, arts and crafts, hay rides, a magician and a balloon entertainer. Refreshments will be served. So, come prepared for a fun family day.

Of coarse for those of you who enjoy parades and dressing up in costume you’ll be faced with a real challenge and dilemma ‘cause Suffern’s annual Halloween Parade is scheduled for the Sunday of the 25th as well. Check out the details here (Suffern Downtown News) before you make your decision.

Either choice should provide you and your family with a super fun day. Don’t you just love living in Rockland!

Directions to Manny Weldler Park: Take Route 306 to west on Maple Ave. The park will be on your right, just past Carlton Rd.

The Suffern Halloween Parade will take place downtown beginning at the Orange Avenue parking lot across the

street from Ole Ole and continuing up Lafayette Avenue to the Gazebo. There will be prizes, snacks and more beginning at 2 p.m. For more information check out the Suffern Village OnLine
