How funny! A peacock is the last thing you'd expect to see here! I hear they're used as 'watch animals' because of their loud calls. Is that the case here?
Debi
Debra that is SO COOL! What a juxtaposition! Great photos. Thank you for sharing!
Such a contrast, although the blue does match the porta potty! What's the "rest of the story" on this one?
Debi-Yes this one is definitely one of their watch animals I think. He/she struts around quite loudly at times and is usually trying to get noticed by a certain rooster.
Marney-The pictures don't do justice-That is such a beautiful bird!
Sharon-ROFL Sharon you are right about the "potty!" I was going by and saw the antics hence the pictures. Usually the peacock is not wide open like this unless it is "sounding the alarm" or trying to impress someone which it does seem to be trying!
Hello Debra,
What a beautiful bird! That is so cute that he is a Watch Peacock! Thank you for sharing & the smile!
Rita
Deb, how beautiful! OK, who is the little guy in front of the peacock?
Rita-Thanks Rita and thanks for the comment!
Andrea-I believe it might be a baby peacock!
Rita, precious! With all that interesting background:), the peacock seems to be working so hard to impress that female, and she could just care less.:)
Joanne-Exactly! Not noticing the effort at all! LOL
Debra - What a beautiful bird and in such a funny setting. Great photos.
Debra,
Wow, that is so nice. Full feathered regalia - and is that a construction site or farm? :)
Steve
Jackie-Weird background items isn't it? LOL
Steve-It is a farm with lots of leftover stuff. LOL
Oh Debra, that's where that saying "proud as peacock" comes from. Just look at that thing strutting his stuff!
Al & Peggy-Hey that would have been a great title! Darn! LOL
