RSVP - Responsible Solutions for Valued Pets: Westhampton Country Club Sept. 12, 2010 "Fairy Tales Do Come True" Fundraiser

RSVP: Responsible Solutions for Valued Pets, held its 2010 Charity Fundraiser at the Westhampton Country Club on Sunday, September 12th. Nearly 250 people were in attendance this year for the annual costume fundraiser. The weather cooperated as there were 20 entrants in this years' show entitle "Fairy Tales Do Come True. Community volunteers showed in full costume on the outdoor RSVP fashion show runway in their best fairy tale costumes.

Ed Kurosz of Corcoran Group Real Estate Westhampton Beach and his faithful Pug companion Harley were "The Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs" for this costumed annual event. Ed was decked out in a black Armani tuxedo, light pink tie and scary wolf mask while the star of the afternoon - Harley - was the Three Little Pigs. Ed spent the entire morning fitting Harley into his brand new red harness and leash set bedecked with two stuffed snorting pink pigs. Four hours later, Harley didn't even realize he had permanent companions at his hips. Harley worked the crowd like a politician. When he entered the stage and heard the applause and laughter of the crowd, he stood on his hind legs and greated everyone in the front row with big wet kisses as he moved down the line.

Once on stage, Harley was right at home cocking his head left and right to great applause... so much so, he refused to leave when the announcer called the next fairy tale front and center to the stage. That's alright, Harley always hams it up. This day was ultra special for this unique Hamptons Pug because Harley was celebrating his 9th birthday - Harley was born September 11th, 2001!

We will defintely post the video of the event once it is made available. But in the mean time, here is a group photo of all of the "Fairy Tales Do Come True" Characters and their faithful pets... from Little Miss Muffet and her Spider and Tuffet to the Farmer and the Dell and even Cinderella. The creativity of these pet owners was simply spectacular for this RSVP Fundraiser post-Labor Day 2010 event.
