Whitestone, NY Information

Whitestone is located in the northern most part of the borough of Queens. Flushing, College Point,
Bayside, Auburndale, Murray Hill and Linden Hill surround it. Whitestone is part of Community Board 7.

In the neighborhood of Whitestone, there are several bus lines available to residents. The Q16, Q44,
Q76, Q20B, Q34, Q50 and the QM2. The Q15 via 150th Street to Beechurst provides access to and
from the Flushing-Main Street station on the Number 7 subway line. It connects to the Throgs Neck
Bridge on the east and the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge on the west. The Bronx Whitestone Bridge takes
to you to the Bronx, other convenient highways to the Bronx from the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge are
the Whitestone Expressway and the Cross Island Expressway. New York City subways have no direct
connection to Whitestone.

Some notable residents of Whitestone were Harry Houdini and Rudolph Valentino.
