Feng Shui in New York....Blockage or Showcase? Feng Shui in Woodbury Long Island NY

As a Feng Shui Consultant in New York, I find many of my clients are artistic. They too are lovers of Art in all forms. I have worked with professional dancers, singers, songwriters and actors.

They often have their beautiful art treasures all over their homes. In this case, a gorgeous piano occupied a space in a lovely home I did a Feng Shui Consultation for in Woodbury Long Island New York. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, from the placement of it, it was also a blockage.

This photo was taken from the Front Door looking in. True, it's a showcase piece of art and was used quite frequently by its owners but from a Feng Shui perspective, it blocked off the room.

Energy doesn't want to struggle...it flows through a space. We choose furniture with rounded edges instead of sharp points and we look for obstacles in our paths. In this case, moving the piano just back behind the wall took away the "showpiece" UNTIL you got inside. It also opened up the room considerably.

This is far from all we do during a Feng Shui Consultation but it IS a part of it. Take a walk around YOUR home. Can you pass things easily or is it a struggle getting through? You just might have a blockage yourself.
