PORTAGE LAKES IS IN SPRING BLOOM!

The Portage Lakes are situated in the township of Coventry just south

of Akron, Ohio. The township was established in 1806!

Coventry township built the clocktower and park along East Reservoir.

The Portage Lakes Division of Wildlife District 3 Headquarters is

on Portage Lakes Dr. and they have a park there and a fish

hatchery!

This young couple were fishing at the District 3 park today on North

Reservoir!

Kieffer Marine is now located where Leighton' s Boathouse used to be

on East Reservoir. You can dock a boat there for the season, buy boats

or parts or have your boat serviced there!

This is the little lane that enters into the Vandevere Farm on Cormany

Road. They raise black Angus cows for their delicious beef! They roam

the farm on both sides of the lane. The farm is situated on Long Lake.

This is just a few of the places in beautiful Portage Lakes, where you

can come to play, eat or drink your favorite spirits along the vast

shoreline and park system we call home!
