Avon Lake News: Inwood/Dellwood/Bellaire Foundation Drain Disconnection Program

ALMU is pleased to announce a pilot program it is offering to residents living south of Redwood Blvd. on Inwood, Dellwood, and Bellaire. In order to help residents adhere with the regulation that prohibits clean water from being discharged through a sump into the sanitary sewer, ALMU is offering a $300 sewer credit or a $100 sewer credit and a drain pump (see program rules for details) to remove the clean water from the sanitary sewer discharge. Residents will be required to sign an acknowledgement, indicating that they will permanently remove the water from the sewer and will complete the repairs within 90 days. Residents are encouraged to call ALMU (440-933-6226) to see if they qualify for this program which ends December 31, 2011.
