How exciting! As a fellow RVer I am so envious of their journey. Someday Jay and I will travel cross country in the motor home. For now we have to be content with the east coast.
Opps I'm in Hampstead New Hampshire and I am a real estate agent and trainer.
OMG - we have freedom to comment spam.....I feel strange!!! I'll do it with a funny one: Check out my Miamism Blog and today is "Miamism Fridays" you'll get a treat that is very relevant to Blog Tour USA!! (and it's all Joe's fault).
It's a Real Estate Blog - Rick and I are both Realtors in the Miami area - Miamism gives you information on Real estate marketing trends, stories, advice, and lots of local content. It's Miami as seen from our eyes, on the street and straight to you!

A very boring title...I wish I could come up with a better one.
Hi Maureen - glad to see this post! What a fun way to get to meet people all over the country with their Blog Tour USA.
I'm a REALTOR in Portsmouth New Hampshire, and I have a brand new very tiny baby blog that is being worked on as I write this, and it's still in its incubation period, so keep that in mind when you check it out PLEASE...... New Hampshire and Maine Real Estate. So, okay, I can breath a little now that I've actually linked that here. And if anyone has any feedback, I'm happy to hear it and try to work with it.
Have fun today Maureen, Elaine, Tobey and everyone else!!
Ann
What excitement! Have a great time! Orlando Avenue sends our greetings!
What an adventure. Serious bloggers indeed, those Sellsius folk. I recognize some of the folks attending. I'm not a serious outside (ActiveRain) blogger, but anyone is welcomed to visit my web site. That IS serious.

Sadie slept all the way to the Alum Creek Dog Park -- got out and played with a lot of her new friends. We had a great time and thanks to all the HER Real Living agents that pulled this together.
So sorry we missed this. We were planning to come but I think we do have a pretty good excuse. Looks like it was a lot of fun.
Thanks everyone for the comments, great spam! Elaine pulled up this blog and the comments for the audience.

It was a great time. I am exhausted. We started setting up at 8:00 AM...
Maureen, I just posted the photos I took. Again, want to thank you for making the arrangements for Rudy & Joe to visit us. It was a great time!
I just commented there! Great photos. I am too tired to post more of mine. We need to go get the table, chairs, cooler, etc. from the office.
Thanks for all you did! Great PP presentation.
Maureen it's like you were announcing the happenings on election day lol. Very cool. Sorry I was not able to chime in....if it hadn't been for a memorial service today I would have been there with you. Thanks for the info!
Carole I wish you could have been with us. Their route after Denver confuses me so I had to post it...Next Friday they are in San Diego! That amazes me.... Phoenix, Arizona to San Diego, California to Las Vegas, Nevada to Salt Lake City, Utah to Boise, Idaho, to Seattle, Washington to Portland, Oregon to Reno, Nevada to San Francisco, California seems crazy.... zig zag...
Elaine has a slide in her PP presentation where she showed their route... she had a little bus zig zagging around out there.
Sorry I missed you guys... I was only 80 miles away in Cincinnati. :-(
Maybe next year?
Dan: Did Joe and Rudy meet up with you on their way to Columbus? They mentioned they went to Cincinnati. We're sorry you couldn't make it to the Columbus bus stop.
San Francisco July 28th!!?!?? Oh how fun... can anyone come join the fun? Maybe Mike Mueller and some of the other Bay Area bloggers will be there. I don't much blog in the outside world anymore, mostly on active rain now.. but anyone can visit my site: www.DiabloValley.net.
Catherine Myers, Alain Pinel Realtors, Walnut Creek, CA www.DiabloValley.net
Catherine ....Check with San Francisco bloggers Catherine to see what is going on... it's the beer and bloggers event isn't it? That should be big.
There are a few more pictures of our Columbus bus stop on a blog called "the 270" Alvin of the 270 was there. He got to meet Tina of the Green Buckeye...
We had a food blogger, Andy of a blog called Fine Repasts eating the beans and weiners (and potato salad) that Real Living Title cooked up for the picnic. I hope Andy got to try one of Deb Simon's mom's fine home made bakery items....'the blogrolls.'
I am so disappointed that Joe and Rudy did not get to meet and interview Alvin and Andy. Alvin had to get back to work. I am so disappointed I did not get to meet them.
My suggestion to the MN bloggers... if they have their event open to all bloggers...or even just RE bloggers... bull horn at the entrance to an event... blogger needs to call out their URL as they enter?
Hi, Maureen. They may have driven through Cincinnati, but were probably more excited for the picnic; they just drive right on through. The good news is that I'll catch up with them in San Francisco at Bloggers Connect -- we're on a panel together!
http://realestateconnect.com/sf07/bloggersconnect.aspx#tips
Thanks for the link...Rudy's on a panel the day before about monetizing your blog.
Joe is on the panel with Dan and Teresa Boardman about:
"10 Tips From Top Bloggers Hear unique ideas from the industry's top bloggers on how to tone up your blog and save it from falling into the dead zone.
Panelists:
Teresa Boardman, Realtor/Broker, Keller Williams
Joseph Ferrara, Co-Founder, Sellsius LLC
Dan Green, Founder/President, Bring The Blog
Adam Koval, Founder/Senior Analyst, SocketSite"
Just moments after the presentation of the winner of Project Blogger!
They said there was a fountain and a concert was going on in Cincinnati ... Fountain Square?
I think this is such a great idea the Selisus guys had to promote blogging and meet up with local bloggers across the country..
Maureen, love that bus!!! I guess we're last on the tour (SF, CA) can't wait to see it live. Thanks for sharing this and for getting us all excited. I'm really looking forward to it now...better go register right away, it might sell-out over here thanks to your post!! (Big Smile) B-)

I would and could never do that!! The respect is way too thick around here!! :-) Thanks for being so sweet about it though!! You da best!
We still kind of new to AR, and are still learning the rituals. At first, we put links into a comment. Rich kindly and pleasantly helped us out on that. So we learned. Since then, we've put a few links in our comments when relevant to the post and our comment thereunto.
We're in South Lake Tahoe, our blog here has real time stats on the complete market 24/7. Our goal is to provide all the information all the time to our homeowners and consumers. We've had a lot of nice comments on it so far.
When we started commenting, it took us a while to understand how that was supposed to work, our goal in providing a link was to point out how we do all of the stats and information, and to help anyone with the automations and templates we created to provide this resource. As it is, it takes about a half day per day to stay current with this. Our thought was if this is something of value to our consumers, it might be of value to yours.
Thanks for this post, thanks for the invitation, and we're learning more about AR everyday.
I don't know how I missed this Gary. There was buzz about you (and your brother?) doing links in comments when you were a newbie. Unfortunately a lot of people are not going to take the time to let you know that what you are doing by linking to yourself in most comments on someone elses blog is comment spam. They just delete the comments with links and tell the people they know what a horrible person, blogger, real estate agent the newbie is because of their action of comment spamming. It's not comment spam in this instance because I asked people to add links because of the event.
It was nice of Rich (I assume Rich Jacobson) to take the time to tell you what you were doing was not typically socially acceptable in the blogosphere or on ActiveRain. It is typical of real estate agents to think they are the be all and end all and that if buyers, sellers, consumers just read their website or blog .....
As members of a community (ActiveRain or just the web 2.0 real estate community in general) it is so wrong to use someone else's blog to conduct your business but newbies and the totally obnoxious oblivious people or bots continue to do it... the Guidelines for ActiveRain link on the bottom of each page state this concept for those who continue to comment spam.
A link to carry on a conversation is a good thing in comments in a blog. Most people who are good blog conversationalists use links of things others have shared out in the blogosphere or on another blog here in ActiveRain. Those who comment spam typically post a link to their website or something they've written because they are trying to promote themselves rather than carry on the conversation. It is a hard concept for newbies to grasp sometimes.
What happens on ActiveRain if the Rich Jacobson's of the community don't take the time to let newbies know they are comment spamming is the links and the buzz build up and suddenly there is a backlash, because that person has been on ActiveRain long enough, should have read an entry about comment spam by Colleen K. or another AR member and should know better! Their comments with links disappear (are deleted as that is the bloggers perogative) and the points and links that went with the comment which was perceived as comment spam is lost. What a waste of time comment spamming turns out to be.
It is not as if Colleen K and others haven't blogged on ActiveRain over and over about members spamming members.
Welcome to ActiveRain, Gary hopefully you will pay Rich's kindness to you forward and say "pssssst read the Guidelines" when you get comment spam or when you see someone comment spamming on an entry.
Brad, thanks for stopping by. Again no clue why I missed these two comments.
Maureen - Did any of the non-blogging attendees pick up on blogging? Just curious ...
Okay, what is a pandanus?
Toby: Saroya Bryant filled out an AR profile but has not done anything else since. Or had not last time I looked. Herb Schupp who was already an ActiveRain member did a blog post (I believe his first ) that day or the next day but I think that was it for the people from my office. There were people from other HER offices there and I am not sure if they have blogged. There were people from CBKT WO there I believe who were non bloggers but for a lot of the event there was a sea of faces some of whom I could kinda sorta recognize from their name tags / faces but mostly I don't have a clue.
We had a big company meeting Tuesday. They explained blogging. They gave people some options on starting a blog, one was ActiveRain. I did not look yesterday but Tuesday there were NO sign ups from people with Real Living HER. I sent invites to a few people. No response. Blog resistance? As they say in St. Paul MN, You betcha.
If the company ever wants a thrid-party endorsement for blogging, I'm just down the road... ;-) Drove to Dayton yesterday to meet a fellow blogger. It's always fun to chat offline, isn't it?
I looked up the new members for the past couple of days. There are some sign ups from Real Living Realty One, but I believe only one from Real Living HER on ActiveRain since the 360° event in Central Ohio.
Dan wrote "a fellow blogger" real estate? Finance? Other?
Teri? My favorite Dayton area blogger!
Dan.... is 'Bring the Blog' selling content to RE bloggers? Teresa B? Or am I confused (again?) That may be something the blog resistant would love to hear about....
Thanks for the information Maureen. There were a lot of faces and names that were recognized from ads and listings. I'm curious to see if anyone new signs up for AR. I was approached by one agent that wanted to get together for coffee, but she's too "busy" to do it. Not a good start for her blogging career.
