Water Damage. If you got, you'll know it! (Franklin/Delaware Counties)

Hello Columbus, Oh Homeowners,

If you ever got water damage from your roof you would know it. Know why? There would be leaking and sometimes you get what is known as "pregnant bubbles" on your ceiling which means one thing, you have water laying and needs fixed IMMEDIATELY to prevent further damage. Knowing full well that you will need to have decking replaced on your roof once the roofing crew tears it off.

Every spring, there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of homeowners in desperate need to fix/replace their roof due to water damage for the prior winter.

Are you one of those potential THOUSANDS?

Most homeowners will usually ignore the situation.  In reality, annual inspection should be performed on the roof system every spring.

Glen,  You are right but a good majority of homeowners due to the economy do not get annual inspections because there is a trip/inspection fee.

The best bet is to have a licensed contractor come out at the very least and have them do his/her job to ensure of no further damage. That is if there is damage in the first place.

Thanks for the reply Glen!

Jenette,

Thanks for the great response. You are right most homeowners know that just like doctors (know) where and what to look for. The sad part of this and it is very much a reality is that if the water damage is not found and treated it could cause mold and possibly asbestos which is a health hazard.

Thanks for the reply!
