Lucas County Land Bank|Public Vacant Property Discussion
Lucas County has recently taken steps to create a Land Bank for the community. The Land Bank is a tool that will hopefully provide resources to tackle the considerable problem with vacant and abandoned properties in Lucas County.
Before the Lucas County Land Bank begins its work, they want to hear from you about your expectations for this new community tool.
Neighborhood activists, proeprty professionals, housing advocates, government and business leaders, and Lucas County residents are all invited to attend one of two Community Listening Sessions.
Amy HOvey of the Center for Community Progress, a national leader on land bank and vacant and abandoned property reclamation, will moderate the discussion.
