What is that Ohio Rennaissance Festival like? Got any pics? We have one here that goes on all month long LOL

( 06/06/08 10:06AM ) — Brian Kreick

How soon do you think the Dayton real estate market will turn around?  Is the crime still high there was a huge number of vacant homes?

Sarah, The Ohio Renaissance Festival is great fun! I'm sorry, I don't have any photos of it but I'm sure you can find some online.

Brian, I'm not sure what you mean by the market "turning around". We have actually experienced slight appreciation in Montgomery County, even though other Ohio areas have suffered. In fact, Eppraisal reports that Dayton Ohio is among the top cities in the nation for home value increases (up 3.1% in April). As far as crime goes, the inner city of Dayton has experienced crime levels above the national average, but the surrounding areas in the Dayton have averages well below the national averages according to National Scout. Currently, the real estate market is doing very well here due to the appreciation in home values and we don't have a large number of vacant homes.

Thanks for your comments!
