This is my son-in-law who is a Sgt in the United States Marine Corp. He has been deployed twice in the past couple of years. Last year he spent Christmas in Iraq. It was very hard for him and for all of us - especially my daughter. Above everything he was so brave on Christmas morning while he watched his daughter open some gifts on the web cam. We will not ever know what that felt like to him.
He is home safe and sound and living across the country from us now in California. He is well and so are my daughter, grandaughter and grandson.
