Cleveland Ohio Area Events: Rocky River Arts Festival is coming

Rocky River Arts Festival

The first annual Rocky River Fall Arts Festival took place in 2009. It took place on a beautiful late September morning and afternoon in the Old Detroit Road area of Rocky River, Ohio. The Rocky River Falls Arts Festival is an event hosted by the Rocky River Parks and Recreation Foundation. This is a non-profit organization that administers this festival with the help of numerous hard working volunteers and the cooperation of the City of Rocky River. The financial support for the Rocky River Fall Arts Festival is raised primarily by donations from local community

merchants and entry fees. Last year, over 40 artists and approximately one thousand people were present for the festival. A variety of entertainment including Jazz bands and musical soloists were scheduled throughout the day.

For 2010, our Rocky River Fall Arts Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 18, 2010 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s festival will be used to provide a scholarship to a graduating Rocky River High School student that will be furthering their art education at an accredited school. Food will be provided by Sweet Melissa’s Restaurant at this year’s event. There will be plenty of free accessible parking. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
