Helping Kids Throughout the Year Through the Danberry Treasure Chest

Danberry Co., Realtors' dinner auction is an annual event, but the needs of children with chronic illness continue throughout the year. Danberry hosts a variety of fundraising events all year long, and together in 2010 we raised enough funds to donate $50,000 to The Danberry Treasure Chest. This is an emergency assitance fund set up at The Toledo Children's Hospital benefitting families struggling with finances ehile their child struggles with a serious illness. Funds are administered through The Toledo Community Foundation and used for things such as a mortgage payment, back utilities, car payments, or in the worst of circumstances, to cover funeral expenses.
