I listed this as Franklin County thinking it was on the south side of the road but I bet this is in Delaware County....

Hello Maureen, Nice photo tribute. Sorry I can't help with an answer.
Maureen, cool photo...
Your building consultant for life in Nashville, TN
I wish I'd had a camera with me. I had to take the photos with my cell phone. 1500 full size flags are impressive.
A FINE EXAMPLE OF A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS. Or in this case 1500... thanks for sharing this with the rest of us on this so Memorable weekend.
Hi Maureen... would a dramatic and patriotic photo. I would have loved to see this display in person!
:- )
Would love to have seen this spot in person. At least you did have your cell phone, or you would not have been able to share this at all - and I would not have had the opportunity to see it. Does 1500 represent those lost in that county?

I don't know that the 1500 has any real significance. Many but not all of the heroes were veterans, deceased veterans, active duty military. Not all were military. I saw one that is one of the local news anchors. I doubt he is a vet. The group that nominated him is local Chritian resource management (food pantry) group. I saw people who nominated their children as their heroes.
I had seen the sign the week before I wish I had looked up the link. I never saw anything about the Saturday event.
This is my first phone with a camera. I never understood how valuable it can be even without great photos.
