Bill Bartmann Lecture Series – Part 1 – Bill Bartmann Talks about Reasons to Be in Business for Yourself

Entrepreneurs know that there is only one predictable way to become wealthy

Tulsa, OK - Bill Bartmann, self-made billionaire and business coach recently completed a series of lectures for a group of aspiring entrepreneurs. Bill Bartmann began the series of lectures as he asked the group why they thought they should go into business for themselves. The common answers included financial security, freedom and to get paid for doing what they enjoy.

Bill Bartmann said, "Going into business for yourself is the only predictable way to become wealthy; you need to take control of your destiny and decide what your rewards are going to be. Few people are lucky enough to be born rich, to marry rich, to inherit rich or to get rich by hitting the lottery. None of these paths to riches are predictable."

Bill Bartmann says that business owners do get what they deserve, including financial security and getting paid for doing what they enjoy doing. "If you go into business ownership with a positive attitude, good things generally follow; if you have a bad attitude, you will suffer the consequences," said Bartmann.

Though business ownership offers many great benefits, it is not for everyone. Bill Bartmann instructed his students to ask themselves these questions and to answer them honestly:

  • Are you ready for business?
  • Are you prepared to face risks?
  • Are you the right kind of person?
  • Do you possess the required attributes?
  • Can you stay focused on your objective as you make critical decisions?
  • Can you get past the word "no"?
  • Are you self-confident, even when others express a lack of faith in you?

Bill Bartman said, "Considering how you answered the above questions, are you ready to be the master of your own ship and to control your destiny? Are you right for business ownership? Is business ownership right for you?"

"Not everyone is right for business ownership," said Bartmann. "It's OK to be thankful if you're fortunate enough to have a good job with benefits. You have this position because you possess the skills and knowledge required for this position."
