Spring is in the air in Edmond and that means Broker's Opens. Broker's open houses are a great opportunity for area REALTORs to tour several homes in a neighborhood while networking with other agents. If you are lucky, there is usually something yummy to eat and maybe even a drawing. Sure it's great to visit with friends and have lunch. But I like to use it as a chance for both you and me to learn about a neighborhood you may not have considered.
Today I toured six homes in Fallbrook. Fallbrook is a relatively new addition in Edmond. You may have heard of the neighborhood. I believe a few of the homes were included in last year's Parade of Homes, but I may be mistaken. It's located off of Covell between Santa Fe and Western. Currently homes in Fallbrook are starting in the mid 300's and going up to 500K. Homesites are available and a few of the builders include Bill Roberts and French Custom Homes.
Here is something I think you will like about the area. There is tons of open greenbelt space! A flyer I picked up in one of the homes said there is an incredible 17 acres of greenbelt plus 2 ponds. It also said there is a three acre park. I'm not sure if that is in addition to the 17 acres or not. Regardless, that is a lot of natural space that won't be developed. It really adds to the park like setting of the addition. Here is a picture of the development map. There is also a community pool, volleyball court, basketball court and clubhouse with a fitness center.
Among the homes I toured today, they all had European styled exteriors and more modern interiors. Now, don't panic Oklahoma, I'm not saying contemporary. Just clean lines and modern design. We saw beautiful features like shimmering glass tile accents on back splashes, vessel sinks, and striking light fixtures. I just loved the kitchen pictured to the right. It was so different in that they chose to use very soothing cool tones. The color they used throughout was a custom blue-grey color that they called "Melissa." Very pretty!
Want to take a quick tour of the neighborhood? No need to leave your desk. Just click here to watch the video and see for yourself. By the way, there is some music on the video so mute your computer if you really should be working! ;-) If you want to learn more or see it in person, give me a call at the CENTURY 21 Goodyear Green office, 405-359-7400. Just ask for Kristyn.
