Home Tax Credit Extended

This is very good news! The tax credits have been extended, and not just for those buying for the first time.

The first time home buyer can receive an $8,000 tax credit through the following date: April 30, 2010.

If you have lived in your home for five years you may receive a credit of: $6,500

The tax credit is available to those who earn up to $125,000 for an individual, and for a couple $250,000.
